* WHAT...For the first Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 19 expected. For the Cold Weather Advisory Central and Southern Louisiana, Southeast Texas, very cold wind chills as low as 14 expected. For the second Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 15 expected. The Cold Weather Advisory starting Monday night will be expanded to cover more time in subsequent issuances.

* WHERE...Portions of central, south central, southwest, and west central Louisiana and southeast Texas.

* WHEN...For the first Cold Weather Advisory, from 3 AM to 9 AM CST Sunday. For the second Cold Weather Advisory, from 9 PM Sunday to noon CST Monday. For the third Cold Weather Advisory, from 6 PM Monday to midnight CST Tuesday Night. The Cold Weather Advisory starting Monday night will be expanded to cover more time in subsequent issuances.

* IMPACTS...Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Winter Storm Watchbeginning Mon 6:00 pm, expires Wed 12:00 am

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow and sleet accumulations between 2 and 4 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, south central, southwest, and west central Louisiana and southeast Texas.

* WHEN...From Monday evening through Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes.
