Extreme wind chill values of minus 40 and colder continue.
A cold, arctic air mass has settled in over parts of southern Saskatchewan and southern Manitoba. Under this cold air mass, overnight lows will drop to minus 30 and colder. These cold temperatures combined with northerly winds of 10 to 15 km/h will produce extreme wind chill values of minus 40 and colder.
Temperatures will begin to moderate in Saskatchewan on Thursday, and the extreme cold will end. But, expect the extreme cold to linger in Manitoba Thursday night into Friday morning.
