* WHAT...For the first Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 12 expected. For the second Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 14 expected.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi.
* WHEN...For the first Cold Weather Advisory, from 6 PM Sunday to 9 AM CST Monday. For the second Cold Weather Advisory, from 6 PM Monday to 6 PM CST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Hard freeze conditions are forecast for areas along and north if the I-12 corridor as well as southwest and coastal Mississippi. In addition, very cold temperatures and wind chills can lead to hypothermia if proper clothing is not worn.
* WHAT...Winter precipitation causing moderate to major impacts is expected. Snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches along and north of the I-10 and I-12 corridor and 1 to 3 inches south of this corridor. There is also a low chance of ice accumulations along and south of the I-10 and I-12 corridor.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi.
* WHEN...From late Monday night through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes.
